Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop (S-IMEW) -- 2008
- A two week opportunity for 25 post-secondary students from across Canada to gain exposure to the mineral exploration industry
- Involved a series of themed days from mapping to underground tours to the NI43-101
- Held in Sudbury, ON with a field trip to Val d'Or and Rouyn-Noranda, QC

- Performed a geophysical survey of a rock glacier and a nearby archaeological site in Presque-Isle, Maine
- Learned to use ground penetrating radar, seismic refraction and magnetometry equipment and analyze results
