- Analyzed sediment cores taken during Leg 123 of the Ocean Drilling Program for total organic carbon, δ13C and bulk sulphur
- Wrote a Data Report reporting the information described above.
- Performed barite separation for sulphur isotopic analysis at the University of California, Santa Cruz, analyzed δ34S at U of T
- Modeled how phosphate concentration changes fit into the C and S isotopic behaviour of the Aptian using Octave, expanding on
  my fourth year thesis
- Reprecipitated barite for remeasurement at higher purity.

Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Student-Industry Mineral Exploration Workshop (S-IMEW) -- 2008
- A two week opportunity for 25 post-secondary students from across Canada to gain exposure to the mineral exploration industry
- Involved a series of themed days from mapping to underground tours to the NI43-101
- Held in Sudbury, ON with a field trip to Val d'Or and Rouyn-Noranda, QC

University of Toronto Department of Geology Independent Study Project -- 2007
- An international field course involving Professors and students from the U of T and the University of Maine, Presque-Isle (UMPI)
- Performed a geophysical survey of a rock glacier and a nearby archaeological site in Presque-Isle, Maine
- Learned to use ground penetrating radar, seismic refraction and magnetometry equipment and analyze results

Statistics in Geology -- November 14, 2008
Presentation to a Grade 12 Data Management class at Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute showing some applications of the concepts they are learning in statistics to real geological data. The presentation included hands on activities: linear regression on age and distance of Hawaiian seamounts, and determining grain size distribution of a sediment.

The Geology of the Moon -- February 8, 2008
Lecture for the Hamilton Amateur Astronomers describing formation hypotheses and the accepted collision theory, as well as how to observe features on the moon in the context of geology.
